Once you get in touch, we’ll schedule a free thirty-minute call to discuss your needs, my fee, and the turnaround time. (Of course the phone or Zoom isn’t required if you’d prefer to jump right in, or stick to email!) Then I’ll send you a scope of work document outlining everything I’ll do and the timeline as agreed upon in our conversation. My turnaround ranges from a week or so for a query edit to 4-6 weeks for larger projects; if you require a faster turnaround, an increased fee may be tacked on. I request payment upfront, via Zelle, Paypal, or Venmo, and begin work upon receipt.
All feedback is done electronically, with the exception of the initial 30 minute consultation and any calls included in a coaching package.
I can’t guarantee an offer of representation or a submissions acceptance after working together, but I believe your writing will be stronger and your project more complete as a result of my involvement.
I will never sell or misuse your personal information. Sending out work is part of publishing, and a strong editorial relationship is built on trust. You can trust that I’ll keep your work in confidence and won’t share, disclose, or use any details about you or your project. This website only saves your email so that I can contact you in response to your inquiry.
